Somerset Court Cottages are providing accommodation for visitors to The Ryder Cup 2010.

Somerset Court can accommodate up to 24 guests during the Ryder Cup 2010, in our five luxury cottages. Bookings are now being taken for either a single cottage or for as many cottages as you require, just in case you are travelling with friends, colleagues or Golf Club members.
Somerset Court Cottages are perfectly situated for those golfing enthusiasts who also wish to enjoy a round of golf whilst in the UK.  There are two fantastic golf courses nearby, Worlebury and Weston–Super-Mare.

The Ryder Cup 2010 Venue & The Surrounding Area.
The Ryder Cup is one of the greatest team events golf has to offer and this years event for golfing enthusiasts is being held at the five star Celtic Manor Resort in Newport Wales, between the 28th September and the 3rd October 2010.
The Celtic Manor Resort is set within more than 1,400 acres of parkland and provides some of the finest golf facilities in the UK.  Golfing enthusiasts will also be treated, during the Ryder Cup 2010 matches to the stunning surroundings and panoramic views the Celtic Manor Resort has to offer.

The recently completed 2010 Course measures 7,493 yards off the back tees and has a par of 71.

The Celtic Manor Resort is situated in the beautiful Usk Valley, just off the M4, less than two hours from London, within an hour from both Cardiff and Bristol and just five minutes from the Severn Bridge.
By Train Newport mainline station is just 15 minutes from Celtic Manor Resort. By Air, London Heathrow is just 90 minutes from The Celtic Manor Resort and 45 minutes from Bristol and Cardiff International Airports.
Whilst visiting the Ryder Cup 2010 in Newport, why not take time to visit any one of Wales' 641 castles. Rich in history Caerleon Castle “fortress of the Legion” was the site of one of Britain's three Roman Legionary Fortresses and many believe it to be the location of King Arthur's Camelot.
Newport is a vibrant city, which has managed to retain it's historic buildings and character. It is surrounded by beautiful landscapes, including the Forest of Dean, the Wye Valley (which is designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) and the Vale of Usk, famous for its salmon fishing.
